ClaimRight Legal is a paid legal advertising and lead-generation service. ClaimRight Legal is not a law firm, does not employ attorneys to represent consumers and does not provide legal advice or legal representation.
HOW CLAIM ASSIST WORKS
ClaimRight Legal allows consumers to submit information and request contact from one or more participating law firms. ClaimRight Legal may select a participating law firm based on factors such as the consumer’s location, type of legal matter and law-firm availability.
The identity of the receiving law firm may not be known when a consumer submits an initial inquiry. By submitting information, the consumer authorizes ClaimRight Legal to share that information with one or more participating law firms for the purpose of evaluating and responding to the request for legal assistance.
PAID PARTICIPATION
Participating law firms may pay ClaimRight Legal advertising, marketing, subscription, lead-generation or other fixed fees. Payment does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation or ranking.
ClaimRight Legal does not receive a percentage of any attorney’s fee, settlement, verdict or recovery. ClaimRight Legal does not control the legal fees or expenses charged by a participating law firm.
NO LEGAL ADVICE OR ATTORNEY-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP
ClaimRight Legal does not provide legal advice, evaluate the legal merits or monetary value of a matter, determine whether a consumer has a valid claim, negotiate with insurance companies, file legal claims or represent consumers.
Submitting information through ClaimRight Legal does not create an attorney-client relationship with ClaimRight Legal or any participating law firm. An attorney-client relationship is created only if the consumer and a participating law firm enter into a separate engagement agreement.
INDEPENDENT LAW FIRMS
Each participating law firm independently reviews the inquiries it receives and decides whether to contact a consumer, offer a consultation or accept representation.
ClaimRight Legal does not guarantee that a law firm will contact a consumer or accept a matter. Participating law firms are independently responsible for their attorneys, legal services, professional conduct and fee arrangements.
NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS
Every matter is different and depends on its particular facts, applicable law, evidence, damages, insurance coverage, legal deadlines and other circumstances.
ClaimRight Legal does not promise or guarantee any result, settlement, verdict, benefit or amount of compensation. Past results do not guarantee or predict future outcomes.
FREE CONSULTATIONS AND FEES
A “free consultation” refers only to the initial consultation unless the participating law firm states otherwise.
Attorney fees, litigation costs, case expenses and responsibility for advanced expenses are governed solely by the agreement between the consumer and the participating law firm. Fee arrangements vary by law firm and matter.
LEGAL DEADLINES
Submitting information to ClaimRight Legal does not file a lawsuit, insurance claim, administrative claim or governmental notice. It does not stop or extend any statute of limitations or other legal deadline.
Deadlines vary according to the jurisdiction and circumstances. Certain matters, including claims involving governmental entities, may have shorter notice requirements. Consumers should not delay seeking advice directly from a licensed attorney.
INFORMATION SUBMITTED
Information submitted to ClaimRight Legal is not protected by attorney-client privilege. Consumers should not submit Social Security numbers, financial-account information, complete medical records or other unnecessary highly sensitive documents through the initial inquiry form.
ClaimRight Legal may share submitted information with participating law firms and service providers as explained in its Privacy Policy.
CONSUMER CHOICE
ClaimRight Legal does not represent that participating attorneys are better or more qualified than other attorneys. Consumers are not required to hire a participating law firm and remain free to choose any attorney.
GEOGRAPHIC AVAILABILITY
Attorney licensing, legal advertising, privacy and lawyer-referral requirements vary by state. Participating law firms and legal services may not be available in every location. ClaimRight Legal does not guarantee that it will locate or connect a consumer with a participating law firm.
